Weighing in at more than 800 pounds, not including the bong’s 100-gallon reservoir Bongzilla’s bowl can hold a quarter of a pound of marijuana (that’s four ounces for you cannabis newbies). Each of the piece’s segments have also been dipped in uranium, illuminating the bong as it sits swathed in blacklight at Cannabition.

Jason Harris of Jerome Baker Designs worked with a team of 30 artists to help make this feat of craft and skill possible.

“I make giant bongs,” he said in a Los Angeles Times Interview. “They are my voice to make noise in the world.”

“Las Vegas will be the new Amsterdam of the world,” Harris said. “I see it as a big lighthouse and beacon that says, ‘Just smoke me.’”
